Hi,
the requirements as an assistant teacher in a state or church run school in Malta includes being able to communicate in Maltese and English.
Your first step will have to be to get your teacher's certificate from Spain recognized here in Malta. Unless you can speak Maltese it will be difficult. Maybe your chances are better at one of the private schools in Malta.

THe school year starts in the middle of September. Before then you might find it difficult to contact schools.
Schools here in Malta usually cater for kids from the earliest age onwards but there are also a few private Kindergarten's.
