Need help about working visa!!

Hi, I have got a working visa which expires in 20 days. It was a 3months visa but I could not travel coz of my mum's health issues. I am planning to come to Saudi Arabia as a teacher next week but do not know what to do about the visa. Can I extend the visa in Saudi Arabia until I get My iqama or what would you suggest? What will Happen if My work visa expires before I get my iqama? Pls help.

as long as you get in the country before it expires then you shouldn't have a problem. once you're here you can ask your sponsor for a letter that states you're in the country and your iqama is being processed. my visa expired once i was in country and i had to wait for a while until i arrived. it did feel like i was an undocumented worker at times (i suppose for all intents and purposes i was) but i was able to cash paychecks and get stuff done with an expired visa in my passport until my iqama came through. good luck!
