Advice on Selling Cars in Switzerland

Hi All

I am new to this group and wish I had found it several years ago when I moved to Switzerland. I moved here with my family 5 years ago and have lived in Vaud all this time working in Geneva. We have had our ups and downs as I am sure we all do and am looking for some advice from others who might have move experience than I do.

I need to sell one of our cars and I have put in on Cars4you, Autoscout24 and a couple of other websites but I wanted to see if anyone has experience of selling their cars to a garage? This seems to be the easiest solution although I know I will take a hit on the price. Well that would be the case where I am from but not sure of the position here in Switzerland. Any experience would be welcome.
