hello,
my name is Debbie looking for a new start with my son. I always wanted to live/work in London there are no jobs around here. how hard is it for me and my son to come there so I can look for a job? instead of trying to get one in Oregon.?
I don't have much money my controlling husband has control of all the my money with it.

You are an American/English mother tongue so it shouldn't be difficult to find a job.
It might be take some time as there is a lot of competition so it would be better to save some money before moving...
Anyway you can start apply for a job on line, there are many websites.
I suggest you gumtree in case you want to have an idea about flat renting/sharing (there are jobs opportunities advertised too).
