Apparently , I doubt you get on arrival visa being GCC resident.

The easiest and convenient I could suggest to apply online through below link and you could get visa within two days if you fill the all the sections in application form and attached the required documents.

i.e.

1. go to https://www.ednrd.ae/
2. then click on GCC residents
3. on the port of arrival choose AlGOUIFAT


If you want to apply for Family visa , mention wife profession as house wife ( incase she is not working and you are the sponsor of her and for your kids you can mention profession as STUDENT ) and your  own profession same as IQAMA.

Also you need to attach your iqama and passport copy with when you apply for family application else they will notify you to attach again which is waste of time.
