Things to do in Oxford during the weekends

Oxford is a beautiful city renowned for its architecture and colleges! Walking around the city is a great way to see all of the ancient buildings and there is good shopping in the centre too!
In Oxford there are also 2 cinemas, an ice rink, and University Parks which has a tennis lawn and space for playing in the sun. There is also the Ashmoleum Museum which showcases a great selection of Egyptian and Roman artifacts.
Just outside of Oxford, there is the stately Blenheim Palace and Bicester Village, the large fashion outlet shopping centre which is popular with tourists and locals. Cotswold wildlife park is also a good excursion for all the family just outside of Oxford.
There is a lot to see and do outside the city centre, and although there are some good bus and train routes it would be wise for visitors to hire a car.
