Hey Civ, welcome to the forum. I'd be up for joining you, along with my neighbor, but I'll be out of commission for the next two months since my folks are visiting.

Going to be tied up over the next couple of weekends, but let me know next time you go as I need to get some practice before venturing back out on the fairways!

Hey Allie, when Maserman whipping his iron around, we'll come up behind him and steal his balls....that way we wont have to pay for balls AND our bucket will always be full.

I like you idea CivEng - are women allowed to go on the same day as men?

Hubby and I also play so next time you're heading out, please let us know.  He played the Riyadh Golf Course last week and said it was very nice! 

Ladies - While he played golf, I went to their Spa and had a facial, massage and a mani & pedi.  It was just what I needed!

I will be going to the Riyadh Golf Course Spa Day organised by Eid on Mon 18th Oct - 11am til 4.30pm - maybe a group of us (women) could meet up there for some 'Spa' fun.

Missed out. It was me, myself and I but still had fun.  Only second bucket since elbow surgery.  I think it helped my game.  Pounded a couple of "beers" and had a BLT by the pool.  Maybe next time.

Why not.  I'd welcome the company, male or female. Thought easy way to meet and chat, get to know each other and things.  Don't think they disallow women. You and any woman is certainly welcome.

I didn't mean you--I meant the Riyadh golf course.

When the other women here launched into 'spa' while their hubbies were golfing, my assumption is that women weren't allowed on the course.

1. It's just the driving range.
2. IF women can lounge around the pool in bikinis, why would a women in golf shorts be prohibited.  However, given this country and its rules, never can tell.
3. I'll research and fill the group in.

Wouldn't know about the pool/bikinis because I've never been there.

Well, I have never played golf but I wouldn't mind something like a 'beginners' day if that were possible - or, I could arrange a couple of lessons prior to a Golf Day so I didn't embarass myself too much.  I am still doing the Spa Day come what may as i need some pampering right now!
