Is there any cheap hotels in Quito like a little far from the airport but not to far, and in a safe area, maybe charge of 10$-15$ per day? I'm planing on staying there for a little while so until j find an apartment and move there

The new Quito airport is out in the sticks and you would do better to come into Quito proper, over an hour away, to find inexpensive accommodations. That would also set you up for apartment-hunting using public buses. For that price range you probably will have trouble finding anything but a shared-bathroom hostal in Mariscal or an older hotel in Old Town/El Centro.

There are tons of hostels in Quito for less than $10 a day. And they have some great parties and traveler girls!

Quito's biggest concentration of hostals is in Gringolandia, within a block or two of Kalama between Juan Leon Mera and Almagro, more or less.
Those with the lowest rates are the least likely to advertise on the big travel sites.
