Malaysian visa for Koreans

HI,

My girlfriend and i are looking to move to Malaysia this summer.

My questions are about a Korean nationals visa requirements for working in Malaysia.

She has degree and postgraduate qualifications as well as 5 years teaching experience and would like to work as a teacher ideally.

Any information would be good

Cheers

Mark

Work permits (employment pass) are not based on nationality. There is a foreign worker category, but Koreans don't come under that type of employment type and conditions.

To get an EP the minimum monthly salary must be RM5k or over (basic salary) and a university degree is also necessary.

English mother-tongue teachers are prioritised, but there may be other positions available here. You could check out the Jobs section from the green banner above. The jobs tend to come in waves and as Ramadan is coming up you may find it rather quiet in Malaysia from 18 June for a couple of months.
