Hi ,

I am living in KL since 2 months , I come from India and working . I came to know that I need a minimum salary of RM 5000 to get a dependent pass for my wife and daughter.

I need to understand what parts of my salary is included in this 5000 i.e. Is my EPF contribution from the employer considered in this 5000 ?

I think it is the total monthly salary before deductions (tax, EPF, etc.) i.e. the salary shown on the job offer.

Thanks for your reply .

I want to understand that the contribution of my employer will be counted or not .

eg My salary is suppose 4500 on offer
after epf deduction it becomes 4000 . But there is a contribution of 500 from my employer as well to my EPF i.e 500
So with this contribution added to my salary 4500 + 500 (employer epf contribution) can i get a dependent pass.

can you please provide me details if you know of someone with whom I can consult about this.
