Where is it best to live in Ho Chi Minh?

Hi!
Me and my boyfriend are moving to Ho Chi Minh on the 11th of June :)
We are looking for some nice people who could show as around and tell us all about this wonderful city! We have been in Ho Chi Minh 2 years ago for around 5 days but spent most of time in district 1.
Being new to the area we are unsure where would be best to settle down and live so was wandering if anyone can recommend the best places to find a nice apartment to rent.
