Quick question. I have recently moved here after completing my postgrad from London.
I am quite surprised at the lack of proper bookstores and was wondering if there is any bookclub/similar events/book weekend meetups anywhere in the city?

and if you got information about events or meetings kindly iinform me .. i am here alone 1 year ago without activities

maybe search facebook for jubail book club. Jeddah has a few that don't necessarily meet in person, but do read a set book & then share insights on facebook. There are also specific gender book clubs.

This is kind of sad. I'm used to doing activities with my wife and it seems I need to split up with her.
