Relocating to Turks and Caicos

I AM A 65 YR.OLD SINGLE WOMAN FROM CANADA AND WOULD LIKE LIVE ON TURKS AND CAICO ISLANDS FOR APPROXIMATELY 5 MONTHS A YEAR.IS IT HARD TO FIND A RENTAL ,MODERATELY PRICED AND SAFE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS AND HOW WOULD I START DOING IT FOR NEXT YEAR?THANK YOU

I own a property in Provo and go about 6 times per year-as my children are still school age.  It is not hard to rent a property by the month, but it is hard to find a nice one that is inexpensive, as the best ones are rented out by the week, which is how the owners can earn much more money.  You would have to pay at least $1800 per month minimum.
