Hi,

I wrote the IOSH (British SafetyCouncil) exam last year and have started doing some H&S work.

I have a Police and security with investigation background as well.

What are the options and the scope of work for H&S / Security / Investigation in Namibia. like??

Hi Keith,
OHSE and Security work are in abundance here, especially at the mines. Try looking at Rossing Uranium, Langer Heinrich or Husab mine.

Be warned though, OHSE in some places here is not as strict as in Europe, I am a SHEQ Manager at the coast, and some companies standards are about where the UK was is the early 90's. Some of the things I have observed are crazy, such as working in a container yard, with WPT, wearing Hi-vis, hard hat and flip-flops......
