Hi all

My friend has situation were in her dependant visa validity got expired on April 20 2015, but her Belgium residence card has validity till November 2015.Can she travel back to India from Belgium in May 2015 with valid residence card ,but dependant visa Expired?.

Suggestions plss.

For long term residents (D visa holders who get a RP after registering in commune), visa is just to enter Belgium. Once you have your Residence Permit Card, it over rides the visa.

So, your friend can travel and come back to Belgium any time during the validity of the Residence Permit Card.

Hi,

I am from India as well and came as a dependent. Your resident card (B) is what you would need from now on, do not worry about your visa expiring. You can travel in and out of belgium until the date of your resident card expiry.
