Other expats

Hi there,

I moved to Shrajah from the UK about two months ago. As i do not live here with family nor have  friends it sometimes feel a bit too lonely.It would be nice to get to know other expats living/working in Sharjah.
I am female, working in the education sector and live in the center of Sharjah.

Anyone interested please get in touch.I am up for most things outdoor activities, walking, coffee, chats etc.

Just read your post, hopefully you feel a bit more at home now. I am actually looking for a villa to move to Sharjah with my family. May you have any advice for example concerning a nice area or even know about a villa to let? Once we moved in it would be nice to meet for a coffee or so.

Hello there Shana,

Reading your post it is exactly describing my current feelings right now.
I have been here almost 2 weeks living alone. Till now I try to spend my time as much as possibile on the beach.
Likewise I am also interested in doing any kind of outdoor activities.

I'm aziz , I'm actually staying in Dubai :) been living in UAE for almost 30 years so I know my way around this area . I still love exploring Dubai and UAE every now and then when I have free time going out seeking new places to hang out , restaurants and coffee shops . If you need any assistance or wanna ask about any thing that might help you feel less lonely in here please don't hesitate to ask . I like helping out and in general it can get a bit lonely from time to time in this country cus everyone is always busy and we all have too little time to really socialise .
