Just moved to Latvia

Hi all just to say hello and let you know how im finding living in Latvia.I came for holiday firstly to Majori in July of this year and loved the place,just a 2 hour flight from Gatwick and about 150 pounds return with midweek flights on Air Baltic.
I am retired from work in UK but find small pension goes a lot further here than in UK.
The transport here is very good ,trains always on time and compared to BR very cheap and clean.As my wife is Latvian it helps with language but you could get by on English only, which surprised me.The Latvians are a very friendly people with a sense of humor,if they can help you,they will.
