Renewal of expireddriving license

My Oman driving license expired in 2004.I am considering an offer to return to Oman. Is it possible to automatically renew the expired driving license without undergoing any further tests ?
Valuable inputs from forum members will be very much appreciated.

Hi PankajD,

We are now in 2015.

So your local driving licence has expired a good 11 years back.

Driving licence should be renewed even before it expires, as per rules.

There is a month or so grace period, after which it is considered lapsed.
