As-salamulaikom! Im an OFW based here in dammam working as a nurse. I embraced islam for about 5 months now. And im planning to get married to a egyptian nationality. Still i dont have the certificate that is issued from islamic center here in dammam. I would like to ask help if how can we get married inthe philippines since i am not from mindanao which shariah court is located. Is really needed to go to zamboanga for our marriage? I am from bicol region.

First try to get your Certificate from Dammam Islamic Centre, I hope it will not take such time as you mentioned.

As I know from some reliable sources that: You can get married here in sharia court, only thing both should have Iqama and witnesses. This is very simple and easiest way. After Nikkah Sharia court will issue certificate. Then you can attested by foreign ministry. Your future life will be protected with these confirmation evidences. Also it will help you to have changes to all your previous documents.
