Foreigner to marry Myanmar

Hi All,

I'm a Filipina planning to marry a Myanmar nationality. I'm a little bit concerned about the surname issue after married.
Can somebody advise me about the legalities? What will be the common issues that we may encounter in the future?
Feel free to share your experience or maybe you might know someone who had experience before.

It's not compulsory or customary to add husband's surname to yours after you get married. There will be no legal implications by not doing so or doing do as long as you both signed the marriage certificate in front of two witnesses and endorsed by township court judge.
