Can you point out the right approach to get a job as a foreigner?

Hi everyone,

I am Antriksh, from India. I work in IT sector as a senior software engineer. In future i want to marry my kazakh girlfriend, who works at the ministry. I just want to get a job in kazakhstan an test out life in astana or almaty before i decide in which country i would settle down. I have applied for few vacancies through hh.kz. Can someone point out the right approach to get a job as a foreigner? Are the recruiters open to foreigners and the difficulty of getting a work visa.
I am fluent in english, hindi and know basic russian.
I also want to do a certification course in Russian once i arrive in Kazakhstan!

Also a simple search for "English Teacher Kazakhstan" should help... and get a friend who speaks good Russian to do searches for you too - not all job posts are in English :)

HI,

I think you should be able to get a fiance visa and get married without any hassle...

Your vocation is not that specialist and it would be difficult to find a company that could justify your employment above and beyond that of a local and so it would make sense to worry about getting a job after you are married and can apply for residency.

In the mean-time you could work remotely for an Indian firm to therefore not break the law by working illegally for a Kazakh Company which can get you in more trouble than it is worth...
