A friend (non French speaking) asked me if there were any Mauritian newspapers but in English, and I didn't know the answer.

Hi,
We used to have an English speaking daily - The Independent - but it folded quite a while ago.
We do have a weekly published on Fridays - oddly titled News on Sunday! http://www.defimedia.info/news-sunday.html

if you are looking online you can translate l'express by choosing your language. There is one weekly English paper but I forgot the title. It's a publication from la Sentinelle
