I like go to the cinema, but it can be difficult to find the right place. Any cinema to recommend? Possibly with an English speaking counter service and foreign snacks?

have you checked the one at the Village in Sanlitun, downstairs the Mega-Box ..I always go there and they have everything that you looking for...

I personally think that all the new cinemas in Beijing are perfectly adequate, there is not much difference really. But I recommend you to check out this website 247cinema.cn , you can buy your cinema tickets online and check which cinema is closest to you. Also, they usually sell discounted tickets and indicates which chinese movies have foreign subtitles.
