Good day!
I was accepted for a position in a company in Dubai last November. After finishing all the necessary requirements (i.e. medical, attested documents), my employer then proceeded with the processing of the employment visa last December 22, 2014.
As of today, February 1, 2015, the visa is still being processed. It has been roughly 27 working days already since then.
The employer told me that the reason for such delay is that there was a technical problem with the processing center.
Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have the same problem with the delayed employment visa?

I'm still in Manila, not yet in Dubai. That's why my employer is getting an employment visa (valid for 30days upon entry) for me.
I think you are pertaining to the residency visa/labour permit?
