How much does it cost to live in Haiti?

> accommodation prices

> public transportation fares (tube, bus etc.)

> food prices (your monthly budget)

> health prices (for those who need medical insurance)

> education prices (if you need to pay)

> common bills (Internet, television, telephone, mobile phone)

> price for a good menu in a traditional restaurant

> price for a coffee or a drink

> accommodation prices - Hotels in PAP/Petion-Ville _ $120-140 per night + tax. I bed apartment $800-1000 per month.

> public transportation fares (tube, bus etc.) - tap taps and motos not recommended for expats.

> food prices (your monthly budget) Budget for all non-local items 150-200% of US prices. Local meat and vegetables similar to US in supermarksts. A lot cheaper if you have access to a local (eg a maid) who can purchase for you.

> health prices (for those who need medical insurance) ?

> education prices (if you need to pay) - ?

> energy prices (oil, electricity) ? Try to get it included in the rent.

> common bills (Internet, television, telephone, mobile phone) Internet - $30-50 per month (slow download speeds)

> price for a good menu in a traditional restaurant  - Appetizers $10-15; Entrees $20-40; Wine c150% of price in USA

> price for a coffee or a drink  - Local beer $3 (bar); Spirit and mixer $8-10

> price for cinema tickets -  No cinema
