Hi Jackie. I ve been in jordan (amman) for more than a year and i can say that life here is pretty good. Its safe (at least where i leave) and people are generally very kind and helpful. Out of all the arab countries jordan is the best. Life cost varies from place to place (rich areas/average/poor). Public transportation is not very organized. You can find almost anything you want and is not hard to adapt. For any other question reply here or contact me

I am currently in Egypt but born and raised in America . Moving to Jordan in a few months and have visited already. Hoping to meet professionals, Travelers who have experienced different cultures and music lovers as I am a record producer/dj. Carine.....  Jordan is very nice land especially in spring season... full with biblical places and has one of wonder place which called Petra. Also in Jordan you will find the earth's lowest elevation on land (dead sea), where you can also find spa hotels in the area...
Jordan as you still feel, it safety till this moment, where the situation of other countries  around Jordan are very complicated.... even Egypt nowadays....so i can call Jordan Switzerland of the Arab countries....
By the way I was in your land last month (Zurich), so don't take my words literary, there is no comparison between Jordan and Switzerland....

I wish that you enjoy your days in my home country...
