Hi,
If anybody can advise,
What's the procedure to buy a used car here in the UAE?
How can we test the car?
Who are the top rated new car sellers and the top rated rent a car companies in Abu Dhabi?

Thanks,

Vinccenzo

Hi, My personal Advise, if you going to buy a used car ALWAYS buy from a person NEVER for the agency.
when you buy a used car, don't worry they will test it for you before, and check all the technical issues if there is, also ask for the previous owner book and history.

whether you buying a used or a new car, it depend on your budget firt, and the availibity of the parts. some cars are very expensive in maintenance like LEXUS, BMW and VW and Mercedes. some are cheap MAZDA, TOYOTA.

Good Luck

Find a car first . Then you can take the car which you are going to buy, directly to their authorized service center for check up.

The will give you the list of defects. I think that will be foolproof enough.

When buying a second-hand car check that all outstanding fines have been paid for before registering the car
You will have to change the license plate and car registration to your name. And also the insurance. Some insurance companies offer insurance transfer from one name to another. check with the existing insurance customer care

Do not to hand over any money until the seller can accompany them to register the vehicle.Car registration can be done at RTA local offices or at Eppco, Shamil or Belhasa Wasel. Both the buyer and seller must be present. If the seller is not present, a sale letter from a car dealer is required.
