As stated before, you cannot legally sell a motorcycle with Vietnamese papers in Lao. Anyone who buys this will be buying it illegally.

Kenjee, what one poster posted previously is correct. You cannot legally sell or buy a bike with Vietnamese papers in Laos. Anyone buying such a bike is liable to have problems with the police if stopped at one of the many control points.

What Vientiane boy has stated is correct so anyone who is looking to buy the bike needs to be aware of this.
The seller needs to be made aware of this too as he is doing something illegal and could get into trouble with the authorities too.
