Hi
I was wondering if anyone could advise me? I'm currently living and working in Bahrain and have a bank loan with one of the International Banks here. I'm about to change my job and believe I need to inform the bank. However I have a concern they will then slap a travel ban on me, part of my old and new job is to travel across the GCC. I have no defaults on payments etc. and just changing job to a very reputable international company in Bahrain, any advise please?

Dear Miketpk,
The usual procedure as per my knowledge is that your old employer will inform the bank that your no longer associated with them. I would suggest you to get in touch with the bank update them about the situation and get things sorted out at the earliest to avoid any issues in future.

If both your old and new company are based in Bahrain, and your account is in good order, then there is no reason for you to get a travel ban.
