Hi,

I am about to leave Canada for a job offer in Salalah.

Can I get driving license easily because I have valid Canadian license.

Yes, surely you can get an Omani licence without having to go through the difficult driving tests of Oman. You need to go to the office of the driving licence issuing office and pay an amount of i think 50 OMR and your licence will be endorsed to allow you to drive in Oman.

Meanwhile, I analyzed ur case and I feel that you should move on to Oman because of the high attractiveness of the remuneration offered plus the fact that you can relocate to UAE or Saudi Arabic easily because of your experience in the Gulf.

You need to plan for a very long stay in OMan. All the best
