Hi

I am new to this, I am Business and Economics teacher and my husband in a Maths teacher. We are considering taking career breaks and heading to UAE with 2 young kids to teach. Can you recommend which areas of UAE we should be looking at, anyone use AstuteEducation or Teachaway for jobs. Do we look at ADEC or Adveti. Does the accommodation allowance covers kids, one will be 5 in June and the other 3 in January?

Do we start looking for jobs now for August 2015? Read a lot of the posts and bit confused on the Adec v Adveti thing? do families move to Al Alin in the UAE?

Any help would be much appreciated please?

i think you should be looking from now , schools and others close for jobs by summer, ADEC is a good agency to be under , but teaching you in UAE is challenging

Hi Alex,
I'm moving to the UAE in January. Can you explain more about why teaching is challenging there please?
Do you have any tips to prevent a newbie making silly mistakes?
