Hi,
I am looking for places in Ho Chi Minh that selling rat meat etc.?
Just out of curiosity I want to try rat meat, I ate before dog meat in Hanoi, and baby ducks, etcc... but it seems difficult to find a restaurant that serves rat. As my girlfriend is vegetarian, she dont know place where they sell this kind of exotic meat. A restaurant closeby occasionally sold rat meat, but they didnt have rats now. I found on internet a adress of restaurant in district11 that sell rat meat, but when we came there, the restaurants was closed and people around told us he shut down some time ago.
If someone know some other adress, I am thankfull!

You can go to Hoc Mon distrct in Ho Chi Minh city, there are quite many restaurants sellling rat meat there.

Good RATS are seasonal.
The fattest, tastiest Mekong rats appear after immediately after the rice harvest. Field rats are way safer than dubious (city) rats as they only eat grain. Just like tender cows - the get raised on corn. Quan Hoc Mon is good as country.
In Buon Ma Thuot we get Venison (that deer that's stopped breathing) on the menu year round. Mmm, finger tasting good!
