Moving to Edinburgh from South Africa Cape Town

Hi

We are planning to move to Edinburgh August 2015 so that my son can start a new school year there. My sister in law stays in Newbridge and we planning to rent a home in that area or 10min drive away. Can any one recommend schools in that area. And if any one can give commend on Clifton Hall school. My son is turning 6 next year June. He is currently in a private school (Curro) in Grade RR in South Africa.

I know this is a bit of an old topic, but I'm considering a similar move to Edinburgh from Cape Town with my family. My son will be 8 when we plan to go, and my daughter 5.

I'm interested in your experience. Have you found it a good move so far?
