for folks in Leipzig, I've started a 'craft and cocktails' group here in Leipzig. Bring along a hand craft you are working on (crochet, embroidery etc) and meet others and enjoy a drink. Fun way to make friends. The next meet up is Wednesday night and you can join the facebook group here
