Is another vocation school in Hanoi, Kham Thien street, Ngoc Lenh Cu alley, No6 (tel 84 04 3851 9372). My mother used to teach at this school, wwwwwwwway before, 25~ years ago. I wouldnt know if this school has english-capable teacher, just that it's long established.

Hi,

Are you Chinese?

I sometimes visit women house (there are also a lot of men) to learn some favorite dishes. http://www.nvhphunu.vn/vn/education/f/e … n/idtype/9 . The price is cheap. 2.5$/dish. Vietnamese food has certain ingredients. But the problem is that they don't have English cooking teaching course.

Another good school is http://beptruong.edu.vn/- 02  04 khu biệt thự Chu văn An, Đường số 01, P.26, Q. Bình Thạnh
Tel: (08) 6290 5588 - 6290 9988 - (08) 6294 8320 - 6294 8387. The fee is about 4m/course. They have an expat teacher who is from 5 start hotel but don't know if they have english course or not. Pls call them to check.

There is one blogspot I love to read about Vietnamese cuisine http://lienrom.wordpress.com/page/2/ . She is a Vietnamese who lives in Switzerland . Very enthusiastic. You can ask her fb to ask her more easily.

She wrote a book on Banh Mi Vietnam, release in July. Her posts are pretty good read. More importantly, it's a source of reference so you know the english/latin name of various Vietnamese spice plant like rau thom, rau hung, etc...
