Hi all,

I'm English, living in France and driving a French car, which is insured by MACIF.

I'm off to the UK next week and I was wondering if anyone knew if French insurance covered driving another persons car in the EU third party? (generally speaking this was always the case when I lived in the UK, drove an English car that was insured in the UK and I went to visit people in France).

I've been led to believe that it's not the case with French car insurance! If this is the case, does anyone know if it's possible to get an EU-car insurance for just a couple of weeks?
