Newbie arrival to Cairo

Dear all, forgive me if you have reviewed similar many times..but here goes...I am relocating from India and need honest feedback on schools in Cairo. We are looking At the AIS school as our primary choice on what we have heard and it also fits within our budget. Also, we need to know best location within proximity to that school and approx apartment rental to expect. Also, would appreciate any references to existing ladies clubs that my wife could join to help orientate locally. I will be working about 1.5 hr from Cairo so family will require transport in and around Cairo. Would also appreciate feedback on that. Sorry so many questions but have only a few weeks to organise everything ...usual expat story! Thanks in advance!
