I am curious to know what cable company and packages some of you have with tv and internet and if you find it comparable to the U.S. at all. Also, does anyone know if DirecTV is there? Lastly, does anyone have any English channel packages. I am moreso looking for channels like ABC Family, DisneyJr, Nick Jr etc but in English.

Where you live will determine what's available. I use Tricom and bundle home phone, internet and cable. I have HD on about 40 channels, and yes I get a lot of American channels. Sometimes the programming is in English, sometimes not. But ABC, NBC AND CBS are in English. But tricom isn't available all over. I have had exceptional service from them.

Direct tv, sorry no idea.

I does depend on where you are. HEre on the north coast we actually DISH network. We could also have the local cable company with mostly English stations but not as reliable and not as wide a choice.

Our Internet is with the local cable company and works great
