It depends if it was an employment visa, tourist visa or visit visa.

Visit visas i.e. which are not through tourist agencies or hotels (and are sponsored by relatives), are issued in hard copy. The person who is supposed to come into the UAE has to carry the copy while the original is deposited at the airport terminal of arrival. That means your aunt needs to have the original with her when entering UAE as it wont be in the immigration system like employment visas / tourist visas (Which are issued online in most cases and you only need a photocopy).
