Just to clarify to our readers:
If a landlord (owner) engages an agent to rent out his/her property, as is the case above, the landlord pays the agent and the tenant does not pay any fee. This is according to the Estate Agent Act (law).
If you encounter an agent breaking this law, please report him and the landlord to the Council of Estate Agents (CEA) and the police!
