Hi
Does anyone know of a really good Dog Hotel and dog grooming parlor in Porto, or Villa nova de gaia?

Thanks
Julie

Sorry, don't know of any good dog hotels or grooming parlours in that area, a brief search led me to the following.

http://www.paolopicariello.com/v2/index … &menu_id=4http://www.cvetcarvalhos.com/http://www.altocristelopetshop.com/untitled-page-3.html

Sorry I can't be of any real help.

Hi, we do pet boarding and all pets live with us as part of our family in our countryside home on the Serra da Lousa (not far from Penela).

We are actually in the Coimbra area but we do have clients' who live in the Porto region and indeed all over Central PT who drive the distance to leave their pets with us so if you are really struggling and we can help, please don't hesitate to contact us. You can find lots of info/pics on our website.

Good Luck. Best wishes. Val

Hi Julie, you are very welcome. We don't often get the time to go on forums' so if you need to contact us, the best way to do so is via email and we have a calendar online so you can check available dates. The busiest times are normally Christmas, Easter and the summer hols, we don't tend to board more than 4 dogs at a time as we spend all our time with them. We live in a quiet spot with no passing traffic and hardly any people and we are a child free zone and the dogs love the walks in the forest next to our home. If we can help with anything else, let us know. This seems a nice forum, very informative, glad we found it. Take care, Val

Hi again, we also lived in the Alentejo (Odemira area) for a while before moving to CP 2 1/2 years ago, we much prefer it up here, the landscape is so very beautiful, much nicer in our opinion that the Alentejo. We live near to the top of a mountain and it is wonderful! Just read that you are a writer, something I have always dreamed of doing but not childrens' books more like supernatural/suspense novels, one of my fave authors is Barbara Erskine and she has a new book out in July and I can't wait!! :)

Julan62

Hi
Yes Iv written quite a few books, mostly for children..Although Im writting a thriller one at the mo, and its quite a strange thing writing for the grown ups LOL  ,,I tend to read Chris Kuzneski...love his stuff....
