How to access Facebook on my PC without using a proxy server

Does anyone know how I can access Facebook without using a proxy server? I have no problems using my iPad via my home wifi. Used to be able to access on my laptop via home wifi but since moving to a new apartment with new connection it's blocked. I've been using viettel before when I could access Facebook without proxy server and my new connection is also viettel but now it's blocked.

Then go to My Computer: C -> Windows -> System32 -> drivers -> etc. Now you see file Host, open in notepad, paste and save, F5 your facebook page.

Better to set the two DNS addresses on your router instead on on each device.

These are the Google public DNS servers.  In the past Facebook was actually blocked, now it's this half-hearted DNS elision.

Change your DNS.  It's the better solution and will apply not only to FB but also to any other websites that are blocked this way.

For Windows select whatever network adapter you use, go to properties, Internet Protocol Version 4, specify your DNS server addresses.  Google public DNS servers are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

I don't know the specific commands for Macbooks or iXXX

You can do it on a router as mentioned, or per device if you can't access your router settings.
