I know they are available but at what cost? I'm currently using a Motorola SurfBoard wireless router and it absolutely rocks. I run all my home computers, our cell phones and my smart TV through it with no issues. Should I bring it with me? Will there be any problems with compatibility such as power - 50hz vs 60hz - or the cables? Are homes still cable run with Cat5 or RG6 cables? Just trying to think ahead. I do like my gadgets...

According depends on the router. Router dsl Or Router 3g . For cable network there is no difference. I have a Samsung Smart TV in Jeddah. U.S. netflix working here...
