hi folks,

Couple of months ago i have visited Saigon and i found it very interesting and exciting country. As i am IT specialist i found the city not very good developed in IT and Telco area. I have made a short research in order to check how much is the average salary in my area, but i couldn't find. Could you please help me in values of average salary in the country as well as average for IT specialists? Also i am wondering , how much does cost an hour in internet cafe?

Should be around 7-10.000 vnd per hour at internet cafe

Hi,

The average of salary in IT and telco field is quite hard to say.
Vietnamese IT staff for a big corporation can reach 800 USD/month. IT specialist maybe get much more.
Vietnamese IT staff in a normal company can earn around 400USD/month.

IT and telco staff in governmental companies can get around 300-400 USD/month, and receive good incentives.

Of course, all positions require experience.

I have no idea about foreigner specialists in this case.
