The other side of the French Polynesian postcard

Hi,

As a tourist in a foreign country, very often, we are enchanted with what we discover.

Living abroad is different. It's a rich experience but there are also some difficulties to face.

When people ask me for advice on living abroad, I then tend to say that one should also look at both sides of the postcard.

As an expat in French Polynesia, how would you describe the two sides of your French Polynesian postcard?

Thank you for sharing your experience,

Julien

Well, it seems that Tahiti angered the weather god. The Tahiti webcam over the last month gives me a totally different picture compared to the postcards you reffering too (and also many other photos).    :unsure

Many people may expect perpetual sunshine in the south see and forget that they are in the tropical zone.

For me some Rain, especially if warm, is OK  - (hmm, cough cough since I have not really seen some proper the last years)
