Student moving to Scotland

Hey,
If I get accepted into the University of Stirling then I will be moving to Scotland next February (2015). It's a full degree program (so two to three years). I was wondering if anyone knows of any financial aid for Canadian students going abroad. I'm not going through a school I'm going through an agent. Also any advice and tips about moving to the UK would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! Honestly, any tips. This is my first time moving so I don't really know what to expect especially with moving to another country. Tips about reducing costs, student deals (especially on travel), and good shipping companies would be nice.
