Hi all,
I am planning to go to Jakarta on February 2014. Currently I am looking for an accomodation either in Setiabudi or Kebon Kacang. I found there a couples kost/Residence near by the location (HD residence : Kebon Kacang 14 and The Residence @Setiabudi : Jl. setiabudi Timur 4) but I have no idea is the location is far or not from main street or maybe located in an alley. Really appreciated for your help. Cheers!!

Small kost tend not to advertise; you have to use your feet and find them.
I would book into a cheap hotel for a couple of days, giving you the chance to find a place.

There are many good kost in my area too. It's located near thamrin, jalan taman kebon sirih, just for reference.
