Greetings! My take will be a little different. Hobbies yes but also you could write to some schools if you attending a school/university. Also a church. Clubs with a certain social agenda like ethnic clubs, political, social etc. Low on money, student hostels are available especial in Budapest. Check the Internet. Good luck and be safe and enjoy your visit!
