How do students in the univesity of nairobi live? where do stay n wats the vibe?

they live in hostels on Campus and some opt to rent their own apartments around Nairobi.
Am sure you'll find that Nairobi is not as big as other Cities around the world (even Pretoria) and thus some good places to live would be Langata, Hurlingham Adams Arcade to name but a few. Housing here is way cheaper than in South Africa, the last time i was there, and you should maybe first define your routine before you think of where you shall get a place.
