All I know is that most of us have DSTV - a South African service, you can get some BBC programmes but very old - but SA TV is good, although with the outside lifestyle here, you may find you don't watch much TV
Google DSTV and it will give you all the information you require.
I have never heard of anyone using Sky here but I could be wrong.

DSTV is best option here but if u get good enough internet and HD cable u could watch most of the stuff online

I agree with you Frangoulis. With MyT package from Orange you can get a good internet package including numerous channels in German, Chinese ,Indian, English ...

You can also access the BBC iplayer through a VPN once you get broadband set up. I use VPN oneclick though my ipad which costs GBP7 per year and means you can get anything on the iplayer - the only problem is the broadband speed in Mauritius which at certain times of day means you cannot stream a programme.
